I’m Charles Oddo, completing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Forensics at Kent State University. I bring a unique blend of precision, discipline, and technical problem‑solving from more than twenty years in precision manufacturing for Naval Nuclear Reactors. That experience shaped my approach to technology: methodical, patient, and committed to doing things the right way.

Today, I work in IT support, where I troubleshoot complex payment‑system issues, analyze system behavior, and contribute to process improvements that enhance reliability and user experience. Through both my professional work and academic projects, I’ve developed strong skills in technical documentation, security policy development, cloud technologies, and hands‑on work with modern tools such as IoT and AI.

In the near term, I’m focused on completing my degree, deepening my cybersecurity expertise, and building a portfolio that demonstrates real‑world technical capability—particularly in cloud security, system hardening, and secure configuration practices.

Long‑term, I’m committed to cybersecurity education and community impact. I’m passionate about helping vulnerable populations stay safe online, and one of my goals is to build a business dedicated to teaching practical cyber safety to elderly individuals and veterans.
